Description
NASA/KSC plans to issue a Sole-Source Request for Proposal Quotation (RFQ) for an off the shelf portable 32-channel data acquisition system. The system meets the following requirements: 1) Portable data acquisition and transient capture system in one 2) System must be compatible to operate the Ulysis TarusPCM-PCI-01 telemetry processor card 3) Must be capable of running Dewesoft 6 (minimum) 4) Less than 30 lbs 5) 16-channel (16 internal slots) data acquisition system capable of handling signal conditioners for a wide variety of sensors and signals with the minimum requirements 1 MHZ 16-bit A/D board 16-bit resolution 1.25 MS/s aggregate sampling rate 24 digital I/Os 6) 16-channel, 25 MS/s transient capture card with the minimum requirements: 12-bit resolution 8 input ranges from +/- 50mv to +/- 10V 32 MS memory Input impedance selectable to 50 Ohm or 1 MOhm 7) Minimum overall system requirements: 15" TFT display 1024 x 768 pixel 2.8 GHZ Pentium 4 processor with 2GB of memory 160 GB HDD, DVD-ROM / CD-rewriter combo drive 2 USB, 1x LAN Microsoft Windows 2000 3 free PCI slots NASA/KSC intends to purchase the items from Dewetron Inc., out of Charlestown, RI, in accordance with the statutory authority U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). This is a sole-source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Dewetron Inc. has been identified as the only known responsible source to complete the requirement. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP). This notice of intent is not a request for quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing by mail, fax, or email to Mr. Rob Wolfinger not later than 12 NOON KSC local tine on Friday, September 9, 2005.
