- Description
- The current pre-solicitation notice and any resulting procurement actions resulting from it for the TIER II Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) System Concept Demonstration, synopsized on 05 August 2005, are hereby cancelled. Documents associated with the TIER II UAV acquisition strategy and resulting procurement considered to be source selection sensitive were made available outside the government. It has been determined by the Contracting Officer that the release of this information, in its current form, could have a detrimental impact on conducting a fair, full and open competition for the stated requirements. While the requirements currently remain, all associated acquisition strategy documents will be reviewed; updated/revised and the requirement is anticipated to be re-solicited as a new UAV procurement in the future. Currently, no timetable is scheduled for the review of current documentation and the re-solicitation of Marine Corps UAV requirements. To ensure a leve! l playing field for any future TIER II UAV procurement, the documents will be made available to interested parties from 12 September 2005 to 16 September 2005 at the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory, 3255 Meyers Avenue, Quantico, VA 22134.
