- This is a modification to the combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items announced by the Marine Corps System Command for Request for Proposal (RFP) number M67854-05-R-3064, for a Tester, Transmission, to test the GM Automatic Transmission for the HMMWV A2 vehicle. This modification effects the following three changes: (1) The Supply Code Number and Title is incorrect and is changed from ?59 Electrical and Electronic Equipment Components? to ?49 Maintenance and Repair Shop Equipment?. (2) The model number provided for the GM Automatic Transmission is incorrect and is changed from ?model L480E? to ?model 4L80-E?. (3) The response date and time is extended by two weeks and is changed from ?no later than 2:00 PM, EST, September 8, 2005? to ?no later than 2:00 PM, EST, September 22, 2005?. These are the only changes to the announcement effected by this modification. All proposals must be submitted to the following address: Commander, Marine Corp Systems Command, Attn: Mr. Bradley Wilson, Contractor, 2200 Lester Street, Quantico, VA 22134-6050, or electronically bradley.wilson.ctr@usmc.mil no later than 2:00 PM, EST, September 22, 2005. No facsimile offers will be accepted. All proposals must be clearly marked with RFP M67854-05-R-3064. Offerors are hereby notified that if your proposal is not received by the date, time and location specified in this announcement, it will not be considered.
