- The solicitation will be available at http://fedbizopps.gov. This solicitation was previously announced under A7510050023, and this solicitation will replace it. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued; telephone and fax requests for this solicitation will not be accepted. The Department of the Interior (DOI), National Park Service (NPS) is soliciting quotes from construction firms having the capability to perform the work described below. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of this project. The work of this contract consists of applying a bituminous coat and cover aggregate (chip seal), asphalt surface repair (as needed), and re-striping of 1.9 miles of roads and parking areas within the Guy Sandy area of Chickasaw National Recreation Area. The anticipated award date is September 21, 2005. Contract duration is 45 days from the notice to proceed. All work must be completed by November 30, 2005. Award will be made on best value to the Government and past performance will be one of the criteria for award. Chickasaw National Recreation Area is approximately 85 miles south of Oklahoma City. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation is set-aside for Small Business Concerns. The NAICS Code for this project is 237310 and the small business size standard is $28.5 million. All quotes submitted in a timely manner from qualified vendors will be considered. Responses will be due September 20, 2005 unless extended. In order to download a copy of the solicitation, vendors must register their company with the electronic commerce website. Be prepared with your company's DUNS number (available from Dun and Bradstreet at 888-546-0024) and your Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN). All vendors must be registered on the Central Contract Registry (CCR) at the internet website www.ccr.gov prior to submitting quotes.
