- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (W15P7T-05-R-B515) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only s olicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-05 dated 26 August 2005 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, 1998 edition, current to DCN 20050901. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The NAICS Code is 541511 and this solicitation is a small business set aside. The proposed effort is for a firm fixed price contract for the following items: CLIN/SLIN 0001/0001AA: 425 each TranSphere-Machin e Translation (MT) Single User License Arabic-English CLIN/SLIN 0002/0002AA Annual Maintenance & Support 20% of license Cost 0003/0003AA Option for Second Year Annual Maintenance & Support 20% of license cost. The proposals will be evaluated based on price . It is anticipated that this acquisition will be a sole source award to Applications Technology (AppTeK), Inc., 6867 Elm Street, Suite 300, McLean, VA 22101, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304( c)(1). Only One or a Limited Number of Responsible Sources , as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(1) and 6.302-1(c) [brand name].
