- NOTE: This presolicitation notice was originally posted on 2 Aug 05 under solicitation number FA7000-05-R-0072. Now acquisition procedures under FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding which change the solicitation number to FA7000-05-B-0004 are planned to be used. Hence the reason for changing the number. This acquisition is to provide appliance repair and replacement services for military housing at USAF Academy, CO. The performance period is one year from 1 Oct 2005 plus four one-year options that may be exercised unilaterally by the Government. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary to maintain, repair and replace government owned appliances such as refrigerators, electric ranges, dishwashers and garbage disposals at United States Air Force Academy. The contractor shall furnish all paints, lubricants, and cleaning supplies to service and maintain the appliance. Service maintenance and repair tasks shall be in accordance with the procedures recommended by the respective appliance manufacturer. Below is the estimated annual workload: 1 Basic Refrigerator Repair 300 Each 1a Refrigerator Replacement 85 Each 2 Basic Stove Repair 200 Each 2a Stove Replacement 30 Each 3 Basic Dishwasher Repair 150 Each 3a Dishwasher Replacement 40 Each 4 Basic Garbage Disposal Repair 75 Each 4a Garbage Disposal Replacement 30 Each 5 Emergency Service Calls 15 Each The National Acquisition Industrial Classification Standard Code (NAICS) proposed is 811412 and the business size standard is $6M. This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside. This acquisition will be conducted IAW FAR Part 14 Seal Bidding procedures. The solicitation will be posted on or about 9 September 2005 utilizing the Government's Electronic Posting System (EPS) at www.eps.gov and solicitation documents will not be available by any other means. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. Funds are not currently available for this acquisition and award is subject to Availability of Funds for Fiscal Year (FY) 2006.
