- SOL: 261-0262-05 Due: 09/10/2005 Intent to Negotiate Sole Source ? Purchase of a Enduratec ELF 3200 Electromagnetic Axial Compressive Apparatus. The Sierra Pacific Network Consolidated Contracting Activity intends to conduct a sole source negotiation with Enduratec Systems Group, 5610 Rowland Road, Minnetonka, MN 55343 to purchase a Enduratec ELF 3200 Electromagnetic Axial Compressive Apparatus. The ELF32-B0225N mechanical subsystem includes the load frame, linear motor and load/displacement transducer set. These are integrated into a stand alone tabletop test frame. The load frame integrates actuator and transducer mounting to provide a vertical/horizontal test space 35.5 cm (14 in) wide and 0 to 45.7 cm (18 in) high. Three column design for high axial stiffness and moveable crosshead to allow adjustment of test space. Actuator Assembly: Bose high response electrodynamic linear actuator, +/- 225 N (50 lb) Peak/Max Sine Amplitude, +/- 160 N (36 lb) RMS or Continuous Load Rating, and +/- 6.35 mm (+/- 0.25 in) Stroke. Load Cell: 225 N (50 lb) capacity, stainless steel construction, 0.25% non-linearity/hysteresis, fatigue rated, high natural frequency. Displacement Transducer: +/- 6.25mm (+/-.25 inch) measurement range, 0.25% non-linearity/hysteresis, non-contact/Frictionless measurement. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302 - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NAICS code is 421450. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations; No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within (ten) 10 calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis.
