- Description
- The U.S. Department of Energy intends to award a sole source contract to Velocity Software, Inc. of Mountain View, CA for continued maintenance of proprietary software. This proposed action is for an item for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties who believe they can provide the services may respond by submitting their capability statement including prices, to the email address in the notice. All submissions must be received within ten calendar days of the publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Notes 10-11.
