Description
This requirement is for an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with one base year and two one year options. The item is a 3 Point Combat Assault Sling (CAS) System and the NSN is 8465-01-524-8847. The minimum quantity for the base year and two option years is 35,000. The maximum quantity for the base and two option years is 100,000. Deliveries are FOB detination with a production lead time of 90 days. All deliveries will be to New Cumberland, PA and Tracy, CA. Best Value/Tradeoff source selection procedures will be used with Experience/Past Performance as an evaluation factor. The solicitation will include clauses and provisions regarding Brand Name or Equal in accordance with (14PZ1) Part Number ATSSBLK. All material will be contractor furnished. The estimated solicitation release date is 26 September 2005. ------------ Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Generally, Cothing & Textiles items as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012 and specialty metals (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
