- The Defense Distribution Depot (DDC) located in New Cumberland, PA has a requirement for EMC Clariion CX700 storage device with 27TB of raw storage as listed on the attachment: The EMC Equipment is required because market research indicates that other companies? similar products, or products lacking the particular feature, do not meet or cannot be modified to meet the agency?s needs. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for commercial items; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This acquisition is unrestricted. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423430 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This notice incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. Award will be made using factors 1) technical capability of items to meet the government?s requirements and 2) price. All responsible Offerors are to submit current pricing, delivery time, payment terms, cage code, Dunn and Bradstreet number, Tax Identification Number and all applicable specifications regarding this solicitation. The RFQ must be received no later than 1200 (noon) EST, 08 September 2005 and will be accepted via FAX (717)-770-5689 or 7591, Attn: Vonda DeBolt or email: vonda.debolt@dla.mil Offerors must submit a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 OFFEEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS and 252.212-7000 OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS ? COMMERCIAL ITEMS with their offer. This solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFQ). Reference Document Number SB3100-5202-9502.
