- Description
- The Defense Media Center Contracting Office intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order, under the autority of FAR 6.302-1, with Eaton Power Quality Corporation (Formerly Powerware) of Raleigh NC to purchase 240 Deka 31HR5000 batteries, remove existing batteries from two 350KVA UPS, install new Deka batteries, and deliver old batteries to an EPA approved disposal site. The work is to be accomplished at the Defense Media Center, 23755 Z Street, Riverside CA. Work is to be completed by 2 NOV 2005. The Request for Proposal documents incorporated provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-27 dated 22 DEC 2004. This acquisition is Unrestricted, because there are no known small businesses. The NAICS for this acquisition is 335911; the small business threshold is 500. To be eligible for an award resulting from this solicitation, the Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
