- Lead shielding, various shapes and sizes including rectangular with sizes ranging from 6" X 12" to 12" X 36" and gore shapes ranging from 45" to 65" long. Some pieces manufactured from 1/8" thick lead plate and others from lead wool. Each piece of lead shielding shall be double wrapped with an inner covering of 10 mm PVC and outter covering of 18 mm PVC. Total number of pieces: 3,010 each. Delivery required by 1 Dec 05. Deliveries shall be made to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery Me 03904. This requirement is reserved as a 100 percent Small Business Set Aside. Only firms with 500 employees or less are eligable to participate. This is strictly a Pre-Solicitation Notice. Request For Quotation (RFQ) N00102-06-Q-0800 will be issued and posted to this website o/a 8 Sep 05.
