- Awarding to Data Integrated Scientific Systems (DISS)for purchase of required Cardio/Respiratory Implants for Non-human primates meeting the following criteria: a. Cardio/Respiratory Implants must be compatible with current equipment which was purchased from Data Integrated Scientific Systems b. Implants must be approved for use in Non-human primates c. Devices must: Transduce and transmit Aortic Pressure, Left Ventrical Pressure, Inner Thoracic Pressure, ECG, and temperature. d. Telemetry devices must operate on an independent frequency for group housing; no crosstalk. e. Devices must have a transmission range of four meters. f. Battery life must be twelve months continuous use. We believe DISS to be the only company producing and supplying Cardio/Respiratory Telemetry Implants for Non-Human Primates meeting the above criteria. Items to be requisitioned are: 2 implants, 1 Wave Form Test-Generator-Non human Primate, 1 Implant Powe r Controller (Radio frequency wand for turning implant batteries on and off and which does not require physical contact.) Should anyone else be able to provide items as requested, please notify micaela.bowers1@us.army.mil and provide justification by 15 S ep 2005 12:00 noon EST.
