Description
Quotes are being requested by the Federal Highway Administration?s Simplified Acquisitions Department with intent to procure Site-watch Solar Systems, Autonomous Video Surveillance and Remote Site Management (FAR Part 6.302-1(c). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333298 with a size standard of 500 employees. However, this requirement is unrestricted and all interested offerors may submit a quote. This solicitation is a sole source for the listed brand only and quotes for like items will not be considered. Price is to include shipping, FOB Destination: Federal Highway Administration, Western Federal Lands Highway Division, 610 East Fifth Street, Vancouver, WA 98661. Please indicate in the quote the anticipated delivery date. The Government will award a Purchase Order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. Solicitation No. DTFH70-05-Q-0036 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, the acquisition of commercial items in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation, and award as prescribed in FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-04. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. FAR Provisions and Clauses may be viewed and/or downloaded from http://www.arnet.gov/far/.
