- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be used Solicitation SP4700-05-R-0008 is a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Acquisition of Commercial Items; (FAC 2005-05); 26 August 2005. This solicitation will be 100% small business set-aside and the associated NAICS code is 541611, size standard is $6M. Defense Enterprise Services requires the contracted services of trained security professionals to design and supervise other contracted services in the implementation of security standardization projects. This project will include the design, development, and installation of commercial-off-the-shelf systems (COTS) to monitor leased space at Beauregard Square and Crystal Plaza 5. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors???Commercial applies to this acquisition. Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications---Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions???Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders???Commercial Items, applies to this. FAR/DFAR clauses 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-36, 52.232-33 apply to this solicitation. Offers are due 12 September 2005, 2:00 p.m Eastern Daylight Time, Andrew T.
