- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice for a medical sharps and pharmaceutical waste disposal. The upcoming solicitation will be issued as a request for proposal (RFP) for commercial service under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. The contractor shall provide medical sharps and pharmaceutical waste disposal at David Grant Medical Center, Travis AFB, CA during normal duty hours except all Federal holidays according to the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Performance shall be according to the requirement contained in the PWS. The contractor shall conform to the standards and follow all applicable instructions and directives as identified by the PWS and with the Joint Commission Accreditation Healthcare Organization (JCAHO), and all Federal, State, and local laws applicable to the performance of work. This will be set-aside for Small Businesses only with the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) of 562211 with a size standard of $10.5 million. The period of performance will be a basic period (1 Oct 05 to 30 Sep 06) with four option years. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The Government anticipates the issuance of the solicitation no later than 1 Sep 05 with solicitation due date of 12 Sep 05, 4:00 p.m. PST. The entire solicitation will be made available on Federal Business Opportunities website (http:www.eps.gov). No paper copies will be issued. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package.
