Description

The VA Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach, California intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Kay Elemetrics, Lincoln Park, NJ to acquire a Digital Strobe System for the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) Audiology & Speech Pathology Department, 11301 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90073. The NAICS Code is 334510 and the Size Standard is 500 Employees. This procurement is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and FAR parts 12 and 15. The authority cited and justification made is based on the determination that the Government?s minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from this one source. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement on or about September 12, 2005, 4:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. No solicitation will be made available and all information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The proposed award date is September 12, 2005. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement is based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Only written inquires will be accepted. No telephone inquires will be accepted.
