- This is a presolicitation notice for this requirement. A solicitation will be posted on or about 10 August 2005. This procurement is for the contractor to provide equipment, installation, training and testing for Audio/Visual presentation capabilities in the Base Community Center, Building 700, McChord AFB, to include audio/visual control via a touch panel control system supporting users of varying degrees of technical ability, amplifiers, additional speakers and installation of connections for future installation of video equipment. This project shall support the requirement for multifunctional events supported in the Community Center. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334310, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Information concerning CCR registration requirements may be viewed via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov or by calling the CCR registration center at (888) 227-2423. Award will be based upon lowest price technically acceptable offer for all items from a responsible firm. A site visit will be scheduled, date yet to be determined, attendance is highly recommended in order for all interested parties to better understand the work required and current site conditions.
