- The Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with San Luis & Delta-Mendota Water Authority, a quasi-governmental agency under the State of California, for the operation & maintenance (O&M) of the Delta-Mendota Canal, Central Valley Project, California. This requirement is for a one-year period with four one-year option periods. O&M services are to be performed on Delta-Mendota Canal and appurtenant facilities, including intake channel, discharge tubes, Westley, Newman, Volta, and Firebaugh Wasteways, Newman Service Lateral, and Volta Holding Reservoir; Tracy Pumping Plant and Switchyard; Tracy Pumping Plant Operations and Maintenance Complex (excluding Reclamation's Administration Building, Water Quality Building, and Western Area Power Administration's facilities); O'Neill Pumping/Generating Plant and Switchyard; San Luis Drain including Redfern Drain; Kesterson Reservoir, Mendota Pool (operations only). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 221310 and the related small business size standard in millions of dollars is $6.0. Interested parties should include the following information in their response: (1) Business name, address, cage code, size classification based on NAICS size standard, socioeconomic classification (i.e., HUBZone), and a point of contact; (2) A copy of the certificate issued by the Small Business Administration of your qualifications as a HUBZone small business concern; (3) A positive statement of your intention to submit an offer for this solicitation as a prime contractor, and; (4) Evidence of your experience performing work similar in type and scope to include: contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts and points of contacts with telephone numbers and post experience regarding similar type work described above within the past 5 years. In addition, include attachments cataloging the company's equipment, assets, personnel resources and financial resources that demonstrates company responsibility and capability to perform the required work. This notice is not a request for proposal and the information presented in this announcement will not obligate the Bureau of Reclamation in any manner. All letters of interest and qualifications must be submitted by close of business September 9, 2005, to Evelyn Yamamoto, U.S. Dept. of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region, Acquisition Services, 2800 Cottage Way, Room E-1815, Sacramento, California 95825-1898. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Annual Representations and Certifications, as required by FAR 4.1102 and FAR 4.1200, apply to this procurement.
