- Description
- Fleet Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound, in support of U.S. Naval Air Facility Atsugi, has a requirement for Kentucky Bluegrass Seeds. There will be an estimated not to exceed yearly quantity of 8,000 lbs of Midnight variety and 4,000 lbs of Serene variety. The solicitation will be issued as Full and Open Competition using commercial procedures IAW FAR Part 12 and 15. The anticipated contract type of award will be of the Firm, Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Supply Type. The period of performance is the base year and four possible one-year option periods. Deliveries will be sent FOB Destination to NAVTRANS Travis AFB CA. The solicitation will be issued on or about 01 July 2005 and will close on or about 25 July 2005. When issued, the RFP will be electronically posted via the NECO website at www.neco.navy.mil. Offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP package and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax request for the RFP will be accepted. An email request to janet.m.baker@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO website. This office will maintain no bidders list. No paper copies of the RFP/Amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (24-JUN-2005).
