- U.S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR OFFICE SPACE IN LEE?S SUMMIT, MISSOURI The General Services Administration (GSA) seeks expression of interest from owners and authorized agents of existing commercial office and related space. The existing office space shall be located in an attractive, professional, commercial office place setting, Industrial/Warehouse or Retail space is not acceptable. AMOUNT: The General Services Administration desires to lease contiguous space of approximately 115,000 rentable square feet yielding 100,000 ANSI/BOMA Office Area square feet, for use by the agency for personnel, furnishings, and equipment. Occupancy is required by August 1, 2006. TENANT: The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS) a Department of Homeland Security (Formerly INS) LOCATION: Offered space must be in the following delineated area: From West 50 highway and I-470 Interchange; SE on 50 Highway to 291 Highway; North on 291 Highway to Lakewood Boulevard; West on Lakewood Boulevard to Lee?s Summit Road; South on Lee?s Summit Road to I-470; West on I-470 to 50 Highway and I-470 Interchange. REQUIRED: Tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. The space offered must conform to GSA requirements for fire and life safety and handicap accessibility. TERM: Space is required not later than August 1, 2006. The lease will be for a minimum term of ten (10) years, five (5) years firm.
