- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation M67854-05-R-0504 is issued hereto as a request for proposal. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small business under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 238330 and 314110 and has a small business size of 500 employees. The contract type will be firm-fixed priced. The scope of work includes the painting of passageways, conference rooms office spaces and various other areas. Place of performance will be Building 2203 located at Hospital Point Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA. A site visit may be conducted at any time until COB 7 Sep 2005 by contacting SSgt Margaret R. Blunt @ 703-432-3942. Unless otherwise specifie! d in any order, acceptance shall be made at destination. Solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items (10/2000) is hereby incorporated by reference. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the request for proposal will be most advantageous, representing the best value to the Government price and other factors considered.
