Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number M00318-05-T-0677 is applicable and is issued as a request for quotations. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-05. The requirement is a small business set-aside with a NAICS Code of 421910, and a size standard of 100 employees. The anticipated contract will be Firm Fixed Price. Regional Contracting Office Hawaii, Marine Corps Base Hawaii has a requirement for the procurement and installation of sunshades compatible with existing playground equipment located on the grounds of BLDG 6111. CLIN 0001 ? Sunshades and supporting poles for Child Development Center; 0002 ? Installation of sunshades and poles in CLIN 0001. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government considering price, technical, and past performance. If offerors are quoting on items other than those specified in this notice, the Offeror shall provide information on how products meets the requirements of the Government, including descriptive literature. If descriptive literature is not providedthe offer will not be considered. An optional site visit will be held at BLDG 6111 on 07 Sept 2005 at 1:00pm HST. The following FAR Clauses/Provisions apply: FAR 52.212-4 Contracting Terms and Conditions ? Under FAR clause 52.212-5 the following are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.222-21--Prohibition of Segregated Facilities, FAR 52.222-26--Equal Opportunity (E.O. 11246), FAR 52.222-35--Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era (38 U.S.C. 4212), FAR 52.222-36--Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities (29 U.S.C. 793), FAR 52.222-37-- Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans of the Vietnam Era (38 U.S.C. 4212), FAR 52.232-33--Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer--Central Contractor Registration (31 U.S.C.3332), 52.222-41--Service Contract Act of 1965, as amended (41 U.S.C. 351, et. Seq.), 52.222-42--Statement of Equivalent Rates for Federal Hires (29 U.S.C. 206 and 41 U.S.C. 351, et. Seq.)The following DFARS clause 252.212-7001 is applicable to this acquisition. Offerors are required to submit a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their quote. DFAR 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration. The Offeror should also provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) CODE, Contractor Establishment Code (DUNS number) and Tax Identification number. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register to be considered for award (NO EXCEPTIONS). Register at http://www.ccr.gov/index.cfm. Quotes may be submitted via facsimile to Attn: Riley Yogi ! at 808-257-2350 or via email at Riley.Yogi@usmc.mil. Quotes are required no later than 16 Sep 2005 at 12:00 PM HST. Facsimile transmissions must clearly identify this notice and the name of the contracting officer on the first page. Submitters bear the burden of ensuring that the quotes reached the designated contracting office on time and should allow a reasonable time for facsimile transmissions to be completed. All pages of the transmission must reach the office before the deadline specified and pages of a facsimile transmission that arrive in the office after the specified deadline will not be considered. The submitter bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile transmission and should confirm by telephone that any facsimile was received. This purchase will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
