- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville, Florida has a requirement for mooring lines. Please see below for specifics on the mooring lines. The price shall include all costs for transportation. The mooring lines shall be delivered to Naval Station Mayport, Florida. Offerors shall indicate how long after receipt of order it will take to deliver product. The Government reserves the right to make more than one award from this combined synopsis/solicitation. This item is being procured under FAR 13.5, Commercial Item Test Program. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All clauses listed in this announcement can be read in their entirety at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The solicitation number is N68836-05-T-0177 and is issued as a request for quote. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05. The NAICS code for this procurement is 314991. The applicable size standard for this procurement is 500 employees. This solicitation is set-aside for small business. The contract line item numbers are: CLIN 0001, 1 ? inch diameter Spectra mooring lines (12 strand), 600 feet in length, two 6 foot cordura chafe covered eyes (one at each end), sliding 6 foot cordura in body, quantity 8. CLIN 0002, 5 inch circumference double-braid nylon rope, 600 feet in length with a 6 foot eye on one end, quantity 36. CLIN 0003, 8 inch circumference double-braid nylon rope, 600 feet in length with a 6 foot eye on one end, quantity 24.
