Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting, in accordance with FAR 12 and 13.5, six ball valve repair machines. Machines shall be compact in design and lightweight. Machines must be capable of in-place machining of welded top loaded ball valves of various sizes aboard US Naval Vessels. Complete specifications are included in the solicitation. This procurement will be a 100% small business set-aside. This will be a Firm, Fixed Price supply type contract. FOB Destination. Place of delivery is Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, WA. Delivery required 30 September 2005. Solicitation will be issued on or about 29 AUGUST 2005 with a closing date of 9 SEPTEMBER 2005. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
