Description
This office is seeking price quotes from current Aircraft Rental Agreement (ARA) operators for contractor operated aircraft to perform personnel transport, aerial ignition (Government operation of PSD) and longline/sling load supplies. The Contractor will be required to hold a current Federal Aviation Administration Air Carrier operating certificate for the category and class of aircraft required and provided under the contract. Additional FAA certification under 14CFR, Part 133, Rotorcraft External Load Operations and Part 137, Agricultural Aircraft Operations are required. Work will be in support of the Saguaro National Park. Crew will RON in Tucson, Arizona. We will need approximately 35 hours of flight time. Crew Requirement Pilot-in-Command (PIC) and a Fuel Service Vehicle Driver Pilot will need to be carded for Aerial Ignition and longline to perform the above missions. Target Aircraft Requirements Internal payload (HIGE) of 800 pounds at 28 degrees C at 8600 ft. pressure altitude using a pilot weight of 200 pounds, and fuel for 1.5 hours (use Standard Interagency Load Calculation Method and Form, and Helicopter Fuel Consumption & Weight Reduction Chart Exhibits; and appropriate hover ceiling charts for calculations. These are located in your ARA) A Bell Helicopter 206LI C30P should typically fulfill the above requirements; however, offerors should ensure their specific helicopter is capable of meeting the above requirements. Offerors should submit sufficient information to the Contracting Officer to demonstrate that the above requirement will be met. Price of aircraft per flight hour ____________________ Daily guarantee hours averaged over period of use as in ARA ____________________ Ferry time and Fuel Service ____________________ vehicle mileage to Tucson (one way) Offers will be evaluated in accordance with C6.2, C6.2.1, and C6.2.2 in your ARA. Please provide Name, contact number, and the type and amount of work accomplished when listing your prior aerial ignition experience. Work will be performed September 22nd to October 1, 2005 as weather permits. If you are interested in this project and are found to be the most advantageous company to provide this service, use will be under the terms and conditions of the Aircraft Rental Agreement (ARA), Supplements 1, 3, 6, and 8, including any additional provisions included in this project description.
