Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Central California Area Office intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm-fixed price contract for trash collection and disposal at Lake Berryessa, Napa, CA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332312, and the applicable small business size standard of 10.5M. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to collect and dispose of all solid waste. Lake Berryessa has six (6) 2 yard dumpsters in the Oak Shores Day Use area and up to twelve (12) in the lower yard below the Administration Building. All of the two yard dumpsters are of the rear loading (Garwood) type. All dumpsters belong to the Government. Empty all 2 yard dumpsters at the Reclamation Administrations office and in the Oak Shores Day Use area at least two (2) times per week between May 1, 2006 and September 30, 2006. The frequency drops to once per week between October 1, 2005 and April 30, 2006. When special events create unexpected amounts of waste, a call for an extra trip will take place. These extra trips will be charged on a per-event basis. It is anticipated that the RFQ, statement of work will be posted to http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about September 7, 2005. The estimated date for receipt of quotes is on or about October 7, 2005. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov.
