Description
Contract Specialist Sherrye Schmahl 206-764-6588 The Seattle District Corps of Engineers has a competitive requirement to construct Special Operation Forces (SOF) Advanced Techniques Facility (WEST), Ft. Lewis WA. This project consists of construction of a new SOF Advanced Techniques Facility, to includ e 15,000 SF (1391 SM) of instructional space, with provisions for security of classified information. Supporting facilities include utilities, electric service, fire protection and alarm systems, storm and sanitary sewers, information systems, paved and g ravel parking areas, access drives, sidewalks and curbs and gutters, compound fencing, security lighting, intrusion detection systems, CCTV system and Audio/visual system. Heating will be from a central boiler located in the mechanical room, and the entir e facility will be mechanically cooled. The design is masonry construction, metal stud and drywall interior construction with standing seam metal roof. This requirement will be a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable procurement conducted in accordance wit h procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15.101-2 entitled Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process. Period of performance is 335 calendar days. The price range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $ 5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System with a size standard of $28.5 million. The solicitation will be a Request for Proposals, and a fixed-price contract will be awarded as a result of this procurement. This project is open to b oth large and small business. If you are a large business and your proposal will exceed $1 million, you will be required to submit a subcontracting plan with goals for small, HUBZone, small disadvantaged, small woman-owned, and small veteran-owned concern s. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $28.5 million.
