- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation W91364-05-T-0010 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal A cquisition Circular 2005-05. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business. The NAICS code that applies is 335222 and business size is 500 employees. This action will result in a FFP purchase order utilizing simplified commercial acquisition pr ocedures under Full and Open competition. This requirement is for Fire Fighting Equipment (suits & accessories) for the 179th AW Fire Dept. This quotation is to be based on the following item descriptions: Line item 1: Structural Firefighting Coat. Globe Custom Manufactured G-Extreme Cold Basofil 32 Structure Firefighting Coat, to include option for radio pockets, Sizes to be determined by measurements accomplished by vendor,Globe Model G-Extreme Coat. Line item 2: Structural Firefighting Pants. Globe Cus tom Manufactured G-Extreme Cold Basofil Structure Firefighting Pants, to include options for pockets on each thigh and reinforced knees, Sizes to be determined by measurements accomplished by vendor, Globe Model G-Extreme Pants. Line item 3: Proximity Turn Out Coat. Globe Aluminized PBI/Kevlar ARFF/CFR GX7 Proximity Turn Out Coat, Sizes to be determined by measurements accomplished by vendor, Globe Model GX7 Proximity Turn Out Coat or Equal. Line item 4: Proximity Turn Out Pants. Globe PBI/Kevlar ARFF/CFR G X7 Proximity Turn Out Pants with Suspenders, Sizes to be determined by measurements accomplished by vendor, Globe Model GX7 Proximity Turn Out Pants or Equal. Line item 5: Proximity Fire Helmet. Globe ARFF/CFR Aluminized Proximity Fire Helmet with Gold Coa ted Face Shield, Sizes to be determined by measurements accomplished by vendor, Globe Model Proximity Fire Helmet or Equal. All items are to meet, or exceed, NFPA and other applicable firefighting equipment standards. This quotation is for the total cost o f the equipment, to include: delivery charges and any other costs due to the specifications outlined in this solicitation. This quotation should also include an estimated delivery time, as well as warranty information for each product. The Government inten ds to award all or none of the requested services to a single vendor. The contract for this Request for Quote will be made after evaluation of all responsive quotes received within the time period specified. The following provisions are included in this ac quisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to OfferorsCommercial (Jan 2004), FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation Comm Items (Jan 1999). The Government will make an award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is the most advantageous to t he Government. The following shall be used to evaluate offers: price or cost to the Government, time of delivery, quality of product (durability, flexibility, etc.), and past performance of vendor. Potential vendors must be prepared to provide samples, u pon request, of items for evaluation. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (Jan 2004). A completed signed copy of provision FAR 52.212-3 shall be submitted with any quotation.
