Description

We intend to award a sole-source, time and materials type contract to EMI Technologies, Inc, 2200 Telshor Blvd., Las Cruces, NM 88011. EMI Technologies has been developing, integrating and testing the MDA Transportable Telemetry System (TTS) for 2 ? years as part of their General Purpose Instrumentation Van Contract with WSMR. Each suite contains two telemetry vans, two power supply vans, two telemetry antennas and one SATCOM shelter. They built the two suites, procured and integrated the equipment, managed the various subcontracts and participated in the acceptance testing of the systems. EMI Technologies is familiar with the required methodologies and mechanisms, and has an understanding of the MDA mission and is the only known source that already has in-house personnel required for this effort. This notice is not a request for proposals and no solicitation will be forthcoming. See Numbered Note 22. (Any interested parties must respond by 2:00 PM MST, 30 August 2005.)
