Description

This is a synopsis for commercial services. This announcement constitutes the synopsis only. A written solicitation will be available on this web site on or about 19 September 2005. This procurement is 100% set aside for Small Business contractors with Refuse Collection experience. The solicitation document, which will be available on this web site, will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. This will be best value procurement. The NAIC S Code for this project is 562111 with a size standard of $10.5 million dollars. The contractor shall provide refuse collection services to Fort Myer, VA; Fort Leslie J. McNair, DC; and Henderson Hall Marine Corps Base, VA. This service shall include the pick-up and disposal of refuse from both housing and non-housing facilities at all three locations. The period of performance is from the date of award to 30 September 2006 for the basic period plus three option years with performance periods beginning o n 1 October. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contracting Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. CCR must be obtai ned before award can be made. No hard copies of this solicitation will be issued. All contractors must go to https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi to download a copy of the solicitation and all amendments. Once contractors have received the full solicitation package, submit written offers by mail to: US Army, Capital District Contracting Center, ATTN: Nancy L. Lacaria, 9410 Jackson Loop, Suite 214, Ft.
