- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20050726. This acquisition is a full and open competition. NAICS is 334513with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Solicitation is for commercial purchase of: QTY Part Number/Model 1 each Multitrend V5 Data Recorder Description: The Multitrend V5 Data recorder is a flush mounted 12" display with a resolution of SVGA(800X600) industrial LCD built into a steel case. Case measurements are Width 300mm, Height 300mm, Depth 285mm. Unit has from 8 to 32 analog inputs for data sampling form various heat treating furnaces with an input Standard accuracy of ? 0.5% of full range. System is able to record Sample, Average, and maximum and Minimum temperatures either continuously or single events. Logging rate of 20mS. Data storage is 8Mbyte internal with battery backup, 120Mbyte SuperDrive and (optional) a PCMCIA memory interface card capacity 8Mb to 1Gb. Place of delivery, performance, and acceptance is FOB Destination, Edwards AFB, CA 93524.
