Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This is a Commercial Solicitation using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13 Contractor will supply NETA Certified Testing Technicians to inspect the listed equipment in reference to the NETA MTS 2005 standard. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. Written documentation will not be issued for this quote. (ii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. (iii) This acquisition will be 100% Service Connected Disabled Veteran. The NAICS code is 541330 and size standard $4.0 mil. Only faxed or e-mailed quotations will be accepted. The report will includeconditions and test data, with a summary of recommendations forfuture maintenance, replacement of components or replacement ofapparatus.SCHEDULINGMonday-Friday/Non Holiday/Straight Time REPORTUpon completion of the maintenance inspection/testing program you will receive two (2) copies of the Engineering Report, prepared in (30) working days, and submitted by the Engineer-in-charge for future reference. The report will include conditions and test data, with a summary of recommendations for future maintenance, replacement of components or replacement of apparatus. GENERAL CONDITIONSWork Performed will be in accordance with the following1. Customer?s electrician or engineer, familiar with the distribution system, is to be available during the maintenance period and is to disconnect and re-energize all equipment. Utility service disconnects or reconnect is to be scheduled by the customer so that the electrical equipment is available for maintenance without delay or subject to additional billing.2. Customer is to provide an auxiliary source of 120 volts, 60 Hertz, single-phase power for lights, vacuum cleaners, and small power tools and test equipment unless other agreements are made. When circuit breakers are to be tested, customer is to provide a source of single phase, 480-volt power (minimum 150 amperes), to operate test equipment. 3. Site Specific Training should be included in this quote.4. The services will include all tools, test apparatus, associated equipment, expenses and transportation of technicians and equipment to and from customer?s premises. 5. City Permits for electrical inspectors are not included unless specifically negotiated.6. This quotation needs to be valid for 60 days after date of receipt.
