- The VISN 7 Acquisition Service Center intends to negotiate a sole source Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) procurement with K&R Consulting, for IT and telecommunications requirements that are specific and unique to VISN7. K&R has the capability to install, maintain, upgrade, and repair VISN7 IT and telecommunication infrastructures. This sole source SDVOSB will be an IDIQ IT services contract for the time period of one year. K&R Consulting will be responsible for short-term requirements that pertain to MUMPS programming and data extracts for the VISN7 corporate database. These requirements require detailed knowledge of the corporate database structure and processes, which K&R Consulting has acquired through previous contracts. K&R consulting will also satisfy additional programming requirements that are necessary to support the VISN7 and Document Management System (DMS) infrastructure. K&R Consulting will provide a certified telephone switch technician to work in conjunction with the MUMPS Programmer of the VISN7 IT and telecommunications infrastructure. K&R Consulting will provide a Siemens certified technician that will work in conjunction with the MUMPS programmer and the IT Telecommunications Specialist as it relates to the VISN7 IT and telecommunications infrastructure. K&R Consulting will be responsible for the update, upgrade, and expansion of the VISN7 customized Document Management System (DMS) throughout VISN7 functional areas. K&R Consulting will provide on-going technical expertise for the remote and onsite maintenance and support of day to day operations of the DMS. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 19.406(1) - only one service disabled veteran owned small business concern can satisfy the requirement. NAICS code is 541519 with a size standard of $21.0 million. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations; No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within (ten) 10 calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis.
