- Description
- The Department of State's National Foreign Affairs Training Center, Foreign Service Institute (FSI) provides training and professional development to personnel of the Department of State and the Foreign Service community. The Administrative Management Division of the School of Professional and Area Studies (SPAS) currently seeks contractor(s) to designa and delivery training for the Central Financial Management System (CFMS). CFMS is a software application adapted for Department of State use from the Federal Financial System (FFS) developed by American Management Systems, Inc. (AMS). FFS is an integrated financial management system designed specifically for federal agencies and meets standard accounting requirements prescribed by the General Accounting Office (GAO). It is a commercial-off-the-shelf-system (COTS) currently used by approximately 40 U.S. Government agencies and has been modified somewhat to meet specific State Department needs. This solicitation will result in a pool of course developers and trainers under (multiple-award) Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA). This BPA is not for United States Government Civil Service jobs.
