- PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP), regarding Request For Proposal SP0530-05-R-0055. This conference is being held to clarify any ambiguities that may exist regarding the solicitation and / or technical evaluation requirements, as well as to enhance communication and understanding of the required testing specification and processes including but not limited to: procedural details, pass / fail criteria, lead times and any other matters related to the testing requirement. Solicitation # SP0530-05-R-0055 was issued on August 23, 2005 for the proposed acquisition of ?Oxygen Breathing Apparatus Canisters?, identified by Mine Safety Appliance?s part number 92908, NSN 4240-00-174-1365. LOGISTICS: The location and time of the conference will be: Place: Defense Supply Center Philadelphia 700 Robbins Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19111 Conference Room 7316, Bldg 3D Time: 9:00 a.m. EST. The conference will be conducted by Florence E. Robinson, Contracting Officer, with the Technical Evaluation Team and other advisors in attendance. It is requested that all vendors planning to attend, notify the Contracting Officer with the names of the attendees by phone on (215) 737-8329 or by email: florence.robinson@dla.mil no later than September 2, 2005. It is also requested that all questions be forwarded in advance to the Contracting Officer, to allow sufficient time for responses to be fully and properly prepared. The cut-off date for receipt of all questions shall be September 7, 2005. For questions that arise during the conference that cannot be immediately responded to, typed answers, with the questions attached, will be forwarded to all parties in attendance, as soon as practicable.
