This item is restricted to the followin g approved sources: Honeywell International Inc (CAGE CODE 02LU7) and JT Slocomb Corp (Cage Code 55282). This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design ca pability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economicall y available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. Required delivery with First Article is 26 each, 398 Days after Contract Award (DACA); when First Article is not applicable 26 each, 265 DACA; whe n Alternate II is recommended 26 each, 331 DACA. Deliveries are FOB origin to Secaucus, New Jersey. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are en couraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by assessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under SAR information. The closing date annotated is an estimated da te and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
