- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a one year contract with four one year options for the removal and recycling of paper (catalogs, colored paper, computer paper, envelopes, magazines, newspapers, NUWC phonebooks, post-it notes, and white paper) and beverage containers (aluminum cans, glass and plastic bottles) in accordance with the Statement of Work to be provided with the solicitation. The period of performance is for one base year, with four one year options. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The Government will evaluate technical capability and price. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS Code 562111; Size Standard $10.5M. Estimated solicitation release date is 07/28/05. The incumbent contractor is Hanna Paper Recycling, Inc. of Mansfield, MA. (Contract N66604-02-C-3869).
