Description

The United States Fish and Wildlife Service, Portland, OR, plans to award using other than full and open competition to The State of Washington Department of Natural Resources for a requirement for the Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge, Cheney, WA 99004. The requirement is for work associated with equipment and labor (convict labor) required to accomplish Hazardous Fuels Reduction and Prescribed Fire Maintenance and miscellaneous Boundary Repair, in designated prescribed burn areas. Beginning October 1, 2005 and ending September 30, 2005. Previous procurement data and experience indicate The State of Washington Department of Natural Resources offer reciprocal advantages for the community and provide the best value to the Government.
