Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number is WK3FQY51110904. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-05 and DFARS DCN 20050726 Edition. All responsible sources shall submit a written proposal, which will be considered. Facsimile submissions will also be accepted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the solicitation is 561720. This combined synopsis/solicitation is restricted to the UK. Item/Services Description: 1) Daily office Cleaning in accordance with statement of work (below) to take place Monday through Friday each week excluding British Public Holidays, Qty: 52 weeks from 1 October 2005 through 30 September 2006 2) Clean all interior and exterior windows once a month, Qty: 12 months from 1 October 2005 through 30 September 2006 SERVICES, NON-PERSONAL: The contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, equipment, supplies necessary to perform and complete assigned tasks. CLEANING STATEMENT OF WORK FOR PREMISES OF UNIT 35, BLUESTEM ROAD, IPSWICH Specification of cleaning as follows: To clean up to 2 meters high, 5 days per week. Main Entrance To damp wipe the inside of the glass doors and sills and all internal screens, etc., removing finger marks. Photocopier casing will be wiped. Carpet will be vacuumed. Skirting boards to be damp wiped weekly. Room G1 Desk will be damp wiped and dry buffed where accessible. Telephones will be damp wiped and dry buffed. The computer casing will be dusted only; keyboards will be lifted and dusted underneath. Screens will not be touched. Bins will be emptied and replaced with a fresh liner from stock. Carpets vacuumed. Leather chairs damp wiped weekly. Skirting boards and windowsills damp wiped weekly. Room G2 Hallway Carpets vacuumed. Skirting boards dusted once per week. Door glass panel buffed to remove finger marks. All Toilets These will be thoroughly cleaned daily. Sinks and taps to be wiped and dry buffed. Mirrors buffed up. Tiles wiped and dry buffed along with associated pipe work. Floors to be swept and mopped. Toilet rolls, soap, hand towels will all be replenished from stock. Kitchens All surfaces damp wiped daily. Drainer and sink cleaned. Fronts of cupboards damp wiped free of splash marks. Bins to be emptied washed and replaced with a fresh liner from stock. Staircases and Landing Carpets vacuumed. Metal handrails and nosing to be damp wiped once per week. Skirting boards and windowsills damp wiped weekly. Glass door buffed free of finger marks. Room F1 Desk will be damp wiped and dry buffed where accessible. Telephones will be damp wiped and dry buffed. The computer casing will be dusted only; keyboards will be lifted and dusted underneath. Screens will not be touched. Bins will be emptied and replaced with a fresh liner from stock. Carpets vacuumed. Leather chairs damp wiped weekly. Skirting boards and windowsills damp wiped weekly. Room F2 ? two partitioned offices Desk will be damp wiped and dry buffed where accessible. Telephones will be damp wiped and dry buffed. The computer casing will be dusted only; keyboards will be lifted and dusted underneath. Screens will not be touched. Bins will be emptied and replaced with a fresh liner from stock. Carpets vacuumed. Leather chairs damp wiped weekly. Skirting boards and windowsills damp wiped weekly. Hallway Carpets vacuumed. Skirting boards dusted once per week Door glass panel buffed to remove finger marks Room F3 ? Day Room This room and cupboard will be cleaned as requested. Room F4 Desk will be damp wiped and dry buffed where accessible. Telephones will be damp wiped and dry buffed. The computer casing will be dusted only; keyboards will be lifted and dusted underneath. Screens will not be touched. Bins will be emptied and replaced with a fresh liner from stock. Carpets vacuumed. Leather chairs damp wiped weekly. Skirting boards and windowsills damp wiped weekly. Room F5 ? Computer Room To vacuum floor where accessible once per week. Window Cleaning To clean all outside windows once per month To clean all inside windows once per month Screens and Partitions To clean both sides of all internal screens and partitions twice monthly The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall provide a firm fixed-price offer. FAR 13.106-2, Evaluation of quotations or offerors The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offer whose offer conforming to the solicitation will provide the best value to the government. The government reserves the right to make award to other than the low bidder. Successful contractor must meet all the responsibility requirements of Subpart 9.1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). A written notice of award or acceptance of offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Offerors shall include with the submission of their offer a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications of Commercial Items.
