- Description
- Western Area Power Administration, Sierra Nevada Region (SNR) requires the removal and/or trimming of trees under high voltage power lines in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Specifications of Work. The North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 561730 with a threshold of $6 million. This requirement is set-a-side 100% for small business. Contractors must be licensed by the State of California to work under high voltage power lines and also must have a safety plan approved by SNRs Safety Office before award can be made. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for 1:00 pm on Wednesday August 31, 2005 at Sierra Nevada Region, Folsom, CA. Specific information as to; access roads, environmental issues, management requirements, expected start and completion dates, span by span photos, and directions will be discusses and distributed. Contractor must be registered in the Online Representation and Certification Application program (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov or the ???Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-3??? must be completed and returned with quote. The Service Contract Act, FAR 52.222-41 applies. Employers must comply with the current Department of Labor Wage Determination 1977-0727, Revision 30, and dated 06/27/2005.
