- Description
- The Government intends to award a contract to provide a Liebert Air Control System and a Powerware UPS in the computer room for the Defense Visual Information Center (DVIC). The work includes installation of all equipment, piping, hardware, materials, wiring, circuitry, controls, etc., and requires the contractor to provide electrical, structural and mechanical engineering drawings for approval by the Government. Liebert is specified because it is the only known brand that will connect and interface with the York Facility Manager air control software that regulates building temperature, which can be monitored either locally or remotely. Powerware UPS is specified because it is the only UPS system used throughout the facility and all monitoring systems are connected to that brand.
