- This is Modification No. 2 to the synopsis entitled Center Operations Protective Services, Synopsis No. NNJ05115376L, which was posted on June 28, 2005. You are notified that the following changes are made: 1. The list of interested Parties is attached to this announcement and has also been posted to the COPS website. 2. To facilitate open communications with industry, interested parties are invited to meet with JSC Center Operations management. Information and instructions regarding these meetings are attached to this announcement and are posted to the COPS website at the link entitled: Discussions with Industry-Process and Procedures. 3. Potential Sources Statement of Capabilities: In the synopsis dated June 28, 2005, the government requested comments from industry regarding the current contract and any comments and suggestions to the proposed contract strategy. JSC is also soliciting information about potential sources for the Center Operations Protective Services acquisition. A. Please address any specific experience your company may have in support of a Security Contract in the following areas: - Armed security officers - 911 type emergency dispatch center operations - Monitoring of security access controls and fire detection systems - Installation, sustaining engineering, and/or maintenance of computer aided dispatch systems hardware and software. - Installation, sustaining engineering, and/or maintenance of security access control system hardware and software - Badging operations - Handling and processing request for classified clearances - Special response team (SWAT) operations - On site bomb threat analysis - Threat analysis - Counter intelligence information analysis - Locksmith services - Level of NISPOM Certification, if any. B. Responses must include the following: name and address of firm, size of business; average annual revenue for past 3 years and number of employees; ownership; whether they are large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone small business, Woman-owned small business concern, Veteran-owned service Disabled small business, HBCU/MI, Service-Disabled Veteran-owned small business; number of years in business; affiliate information: parent company, joint venture partners, potential teaming partners, prime contractor (if potential sub) or subcontractors (if potential prime); list of customers covering the past five years (highlight relevant work performed, contract numbers, contract type, dollar value of each procurement; and point of contact - address and phone number). The due date for responses is extended to September 2, 2005. Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet.
