Description
The Navy Experimental Diving Unit, Panama City, FL intends to procure via Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Sole Source to Rosemount Analytical of Orrville, OH: 2 Multi-Method/channel Analyzers with Internal PS as per the following spec's. Display, power supplies and gas concentration sensor modules contained in one 19? standard rack mountable case. 1 oxygen and 2 carbon dioxide sensor modules provided, with capability to add a third carbon dioxide sensor module in the future. Carbon dioxide analyzers to have 4 ranges: 0-2500 ppm, 0-5000 ppm, 0-1.0%, 0-5.0%. Oxygen analyzer to have 4 ranges from 0-5.0% to 0-100%. Barometric pressure sensor and electronics included for automatic correction of gas concentrations for ambient pressure. Variation of reading with pressure: ?0.01% of value per millibar of pressure change Analyzer linearity: ?1% full scale at constant pressure and temperature for carbon dioxide and oxygen. Zero point drift ?2% full scale per week at constant pressure and temperature for carbon dioxide and oxygen. Repeatability ?1% full scale at constant pressure and temperature for carbon dioxide and oxygen. Minimum detection concentration ?1% full scale at constant pressure and temperature for carbon dioxide and oxygen. Carbon dioxide span drift ?0.5% full scale per week at constant pressure and temperature. Oxygen span drift drift ?1% full scale per week at constant pressure and temperature. Adequate sample gas flow: 0.2 to 1.0 liters/min. Serial interface RS 232 C Analog outputs: 0-10 volts and 0-20 ma for each of the 3 analyzer channels Analyzer shall be compatible with installed base of Rosemount NGA 2000 PMD oxygen sensors, NDIR carbon dioxide sensors, and display modules. This will allow components already owned by NEDU to be used as temporary replacements for the display or for sensors that require service. The existing compatible sensors also can provide additional measurement channels when required by specific test protocols. Technical Point of Contact: Dr. Phil Layton, 850-230-3100.
