Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W91YTV-05-T-0198. This acquisition is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect thro ugh Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 423450. The small business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is total Small Business Set a-side. This procuremen t is being conducted under FAR subpart 13.5, test program for commercial items, where simplified acquisitions procedures apply and the conduct of the procurement will be in accordance with Parts 12, 13 or 15 of the FAR or some combination thereof, as state d in FAR 13.003(g)(2). The Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC, has a requirement for the following items manufactured by Tactical Medical Solutions: CLIN 0001  SPECIAL TACTICAL TOURNIQUET W/ (MOLLE) CASE SOFFT (BLACK/OD GREEN) NSN 6515-01-530-7024 ; Quantity: 7,187, Unit of issue: each. Offerors shall include unit price and total price for CLIN 0001 with their quotes. Quotes shall be submitted in a separate sheet of paper in accordance with the instructions on this solicitation. The Government antic ipates awarding a single award for this requirement. The items shall be delivered FOB destination to Womack Army Medical Center, Bldg 4-2817 Reilly Rd., Fort Bragg, NC 28310, within 30 days after receipt of order. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructio ns to Offerors-Commercial, apply to this acquisition. Addenda to FAR 52.212-1: Paragraph (f) of Far clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, does not apply to Request for Quotations (RFQ).
