PRON: AX579408AX, NSN: 1560-01-233-8349, PN: 145S2556 (-4), Quantity: 40 each applicable to the CH-47 Chinook with delivery to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. Required delivery is 40 each, 280 Days After Contract Award (DACA) without First Article Testing. This item is restricted to The Boeing Company, Cage Code 77272, because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engine ering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source requires acquisition of the part from the approved source. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Comprehensive Automated Process for Source Approval Request (CAPSAR) and Policy relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation Requirements. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign Firms are remind ed that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet pre-qualification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All respon sible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency.
