Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, to provide the 21st Civil Engineering Squadron Fire Department requirement to Deliver Bulk Propane Gas to Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado Fire Department Training Area. This solicitation, FA2517-05-T-5003 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 424710 and the business size standard is 100 employees. The Standard Industry Classification (SIC) is 5171. The proposed contract will be set aside for a small business concern. ITEM DESCRIPTION: Line item 0001: Non-personnel service to furnish all labor, equipment, material, supervision, and transportation to Deliver Bulk Propane Gas to the Fire Department training area storage tank within 24 hours of request for the period of 1 October 2005 to 30 September 2006. Estimated order for the year is approximately 18,000 gallons, and the propane will be used for training purposes normally in the spring/summer timeframe. Offertory?s quote should contain the offertory?s best terms; discounts and price quote including charges and fees (i.e., current rack + $ per gallon for delivery; firm fixed price per gallon which includes delivery; etc.) and must include a completed copy of provisions 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items. This solicitation document incorporates certain provisions and clauses and can be viewed at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. An Offertory shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (see DFAR reference below or CCR website www.ccr.gov). Offertory shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror representations and Certifications--Commercial Items and must be filled out and returned with the quote. Other FAR Clauses apply to this acquisition, such as FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders?Commercial Items. FAR 52.252-1, Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference (see website http://farsite.hill.af.mil/). FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation?Commercial Items, states the Government intends to award this contract to the responsible offertory whose quote conforms to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government. Therefore, the offertory?s initial quote should contain the offeror?s best terms; discounts and price quote including charges and fees (i.e., current rack + $ per gallon for delivery; firm fixed price per gallon which includes delivery; etc.). However, the Government reserves the rights to conduct discussions and to further limit the competitive range for reasons of efficiency, if determined necessary by the Contracting Officer. The Government may reject any or all offers if such action is in the public interest. Quotes need to be submitted in writing and signed by an individual with the authority to bind their respective company.
