- The Bay Pines VA Medical Center anticipates awarding a sole source procurement with ASCO Services, Inc. of Palm Bay, FL for the following items: (1) Model Number H7ATB3800N5C Provide three (3) Automatic Bypass Isolation Transfer Switches 800 Amp, 480 volt, 3 Pole, Nema 1 Enclosure. MFG ASCO to match existing. Price to include ASI Startup, Inspection, and Commissioning. NAICS code #335931 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. To be delivered to Bay Pines VA Medical Center at Building 100 Warehouse, St. Petersburg, FL, 33708. No solicitation will be issued. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Information must be received by 4:00 PM, EST, August 29, 2005. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The anticipated award date is on or before September 15, 2005.
