- Under the authority of FAR 6, subpart 6.302, the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta, GA, VISN 7, intends to award a sole source contract to GEOSTATS LP, 530 Means Street NW, Suite 310, Atlanta, GA 30318. GEOSTATS will provide direct support for Mobility Outcomes of the Rehabilitation of the Visually Impaired at the Atlanta VA Rehabilitation Research and Development Center. The contractor will provide research of participants activity through the deployment of wearable GPS travel loggers and activity monitors. The Period of Performance will be September 1, 2005 through August 31, 2006 with two one-year option periods. The NAICS Code is 541710 with a size standard of $6 million. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or a request for offers. No solicitation package is available. The VA will award a sole source contract to a HUBZONE certified firm. Any responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantages to the Government. Responses must be received no later than August 26, 2005.
