- Description
- The Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) Pacific requirement is to lease fifty (50) local lease vehicles for use in Okinawa and mainland Japan. The contractor shall provide vehicles, full service maintenance (preventive and corrective), towing service, and all auxiliary equipment. The vehicles required are intended for general administrative use by the U.S. Government for transporting authorized passengers on military posts and the local economy throughout Japan and Okinawa at low to moderate speeds with stop and go driving. Also, the vehicles must be capable of operation on expressways and highways for short to medium distance trips. The vehicles furnished hereunder shall be delivered for immediate use. Vehicles and furnished accessories shall comply with all Japanese Motor vehicle safety standards in effect on the date of manufacture. This solicitation is reserved to companies licensed to do business in Japan.
